Of course after practice, swimmers are hungry so we go out to eat after the Friday and Sunday practices.
From September to December, we will meet for dinner at Lieutenant’s Pump on every first Friday of the month and at Tamis Café on every third Friday of the month. For those who do not attend the practice, aim to arrive at the restaurant for 8pm.
From September to December, we will meet for brunch at Fathers and Sons on every second Sunday of the month. For those not attending practice, aim to arrive at 1pm.
For all the other Fridays and Sundays, people will meet after practice upstairs and decide where they want to go.
On a regular basis other social events are organized from potluck dinners hosted at members' homes to going out for karaoke or playing pool or venturing out to a Sugar Shack.
After the completion of each Learn to Swim Program a Graduation Party is held to celebrate the completion of the program. Everyone on the team is invited.
We are planning to organize swim camps. Let us know if you are interested.
We invite you to discover these other groups with whom we maintain friendly ties.
Lesbian Outdoor Group (LOG)
The Lesbian Outdoor Group (LOG) provides opportunities for lesbians in the Ottawa-Gatineau region to enjoy the great outdoors and to socialize indoors too! Members organize a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities for the benefit of other members. In LOG, lesbians get together year-round for hikes in the Gatineau hills, potluck gatherings, snowshoe walks, a yearly picnic and even a warm-the-winter dance.

Ottawa TimeOut Hiking Club
The Ottawa TimeOut Hiking Club is a hiking and snowshoeing club for members of the GLBT community and their friends. Ottawa Wolves Rugby Club
The Ottawa Wolves RFC is the first predominantly gay rugby team in the National Capital Region. The Wolves mission is to promote and encourage participation in the game of rugby among those who have traditionally been under-represented in the game, specifically the gay community.
